A US shipping plan should start with the final postcode, product details and importer arrangement. The best gateway depends on the full journey to the receiving address, not only the port or airport arrival.
Build the route around the receiver
An order for California and one for the US interior can require different inland transport. Compare express, air and ocean options against the same delivery scope. For ocean cargo, check whether the receiving site can accept the proposed truck or container.
Prepare for the import stage
Identify the importer and the customs party before departure. Give them accurate product descriptions, transaction values and supporting product information. Current duty treatment must be checked for the actual goods; a general freight article cannot set your duty liability.
Separate arrival from availability
A vessel arrival, customs release, warehouse delivery and stock becoming available for sale are different milestones. If your deadline is a launch date, work backward from usable inventory and allow room for handling and receiving.
Request a useful US quote
Include the supplier city, destination ZIP code, carton count, packed measurements, gross weight and ready date. FBA shipments also need the assigned warehouse address and shipment plan. Ask whether appointments, unloading or special delivery equipment are included.
Before you book
Use this guide to prepare your shipment information and compare shipping scopes. Current service availability, cargo acceptance and destination requirements must be checked for the actual booking. Send SUJIE Logistics the product description, supplier city, receiving postcode and any final packing data for a practical discussion.
