Customs clearance depends on accurate declarations, the receiving country’s rules and the specific goods. Arrange the importer and document responsibilities before the shipment leaves China.
Build the document handover
Prepare the commercial invoice, packing list, transport details and importer information. Product specifications may be needed to support classification or regulatory checks. Ask the broker for a shipment-specific document list.
Keep descriptions and values consistent
The invoice, purchase records and packing list should describe the same goods and quantities. Explain discrepancies before dispatch. An inaccurate low value or generic description can create problems that freight speed cannot solve.
Identify the responsible parties
Name the importer, the party filing customs declarations and the contact who can answer product questions. Door-to-door transport does not automatically resolve these responsibilities. DDP feasibility must be assessed for the actual transaction.
Plan for questions and inspections
Authorities may request further information or inspect cargo. Keep supporting records available and allow time in the receiving plan. Freight coordination can help manage the process, but it cannot guarantee a customs release decision.
Before you book
Use this guide to prepare your shipment information and compare shipping scopes. Current service availability, cargo acceptance and destination requirements must be checked for the actual booking. Send SUJIE Logistics the product description, supplier city, receiving postcode and any final packing data for a practical discussion.
