Airfreight pricing combines chargeable weight with routing, capacity and handling. Airport-to-airport and door-to-door quotes cover different services, so identify the full scope before comparing totals.
Start with chargeable weight
Provide final outside dimensions and gross weight for all pieces. Dense cargo and lightweight bulky cargo can be priced differently even at the same scale weight. Confirm the dimensional factor and any minimum charge in the specific quote.
List the origin and destination work
Pickup, export handling, security screening, terminal processing, customs and local delivery can be separate lines. Ask which are included. A low main-freight charge may leave meaningful costs to be paid after arrival.
Describe cargo restrictions early
Batteries, liquids and other controlled features can limit routing and handling options. Accurate product specifications help avoid a quote for a service that cannot accept the shipment. Special packing or documentation may add cost.
Compare urgency options
The most urgent movement may not be necessary for the whole order. Compare a priority batch with a later balance, or an air shipment with ocean replenishment. Use the required inventory date to decide whether the additional freight expense is justified.
Before you book
Use this guide to prepare your shipment information and compare shipping scopes. Current service availability, cargo acceptance and destination requirements must be checked for the actual booking. Send SUJIE Logistics the product description, supplier city, receiving postcode and any final packing data for a practical discussion.
